what is going on?

Hey Everyone,

I know I haven't been active on here but that is because things have been going really well it was my birthday on the 14th and it was amazing,  but yesterday I had my worst panic attack even my best friend was terrified because she didn't know what to do. I was scared I felt so lost and I couldn't seem to come back and pull myself out and then my other friends came and they didn't know what to do except one who was going home came and told me that I was ok and that everything is fine and her hugging me helped and also my holding my friend's hand was good. My friend whom has been there through all of the panic has never seen me this stressed out and scared she said it has been the worst one and I feel terrible. Thank you I really needed to get this off my chest.

Hey @Betty123

Im so sorry to hear that things havent been that great lately. Panic attacks can be really frightening and can feel like you have no control over it at all. Im glad though that some of your friends were there for you at the time - they sound really kind and supportive. Im wondering what stressed you out exactly? Did something happen or was there a particular worry that came up for you maybe?

In my experience, panic attacks do pass but in the moment it can feel like it wont. What do you normally do to manage when it happens? There is a great article here about panic attacks and how to manage in case some extra ideas may be helpful.

Happy Birthday for the other day by the way - you mentioned it was an amazing day - what did you get up to out of curiosity?

Welcome back!
