Study reminders and mid semester breaks

Hello everyone,

This post is for anyone who has been really stressed with school/ university and the assignments in general. Usually Uni students have a mid-session break around the month of September or October. If you are one of those and have been overwhelmed with juggling study and and assignments here are some ways to relax and catch up on deadlines lectures 😊.

  1. Give yourself a little leisure time during the break but don't stop working completely.
  2. Start prioritizing what all you need to catch up on make a list. The list might make you feel overwhelmed but don't worry you will get through it.
  3. Plan your day in a way that you can work on studies, relax, start preparing for any upcoming exams and spend some time with family too.
  4. Challenge yourself with small and realistic goals. This is help you stay consistent with your work and will also help and provide you time for self care.

It is okay to feel stressed about studies but don't let it harm your mental health. Be kind to yourself🤗.

With all the Hustle and Bustle of life, don't forget to be Happy.

Happy Learning to everyone and enjoy your breaks.

Hi @Figuring_out

What an amazing post!! These are some really good ideas on how to stay on top of things while also keeping our mental health on our priority list. I've already done a couple of your tips such as making a list of things I need to do and setting some goals for myself. This definitely helps with keeping my stress levels low as I feel up to date on my tasks and can give myself some self-care or a little treat when I achieve a goal. I find these tips to be so helpful to make sure we can keep a balance between uni work and spending time with friends and family.Thank you for your great tips!! 😁

Hey @Figuring_out

This is so motivating and uplifting, thank you for this post! The ideas you gave of some ways we can relax during school/university are so helpful. I really like number 3 - planning our days so that it involves studying AND relaxing and spending time with family! It's so easy for us to want to study all day, but planning to do things that don't have to do with study throughout the day is super important - thanks for the reminder 😊

Hey @Figuring_out,

I personally find this so helpful because I am a first year university student and I need a good GPA to get into a postgraduate. I make it my priority every day of each semester to ensure I optimise my wellbeing.

The 4 key steps you have included are so important not only to mental health but also academic perfomance. I find my performance is always higher if I look after myself and prioritise important health factors in study life and also beyond that in social and extra circumstances.

Thank you @Figuring_out for a useful and great post for us to progress in our self-care and wellbeing. 👏👏👏

Welcome back!
