Self Care

Hello everyone! Hope you're all doing well ! ☀️

I just wanted to jump on here and share some of my go-to self care practices: 

  • Talk a long, nice morning walk
  • Eat breakfast outside in the sun
  • Call my parents who live overseas
  • Watch the sunset 
  • Have a nice, warm shower 

I find that these simple things really help me relax and recharge.

I am also very keen and curious to hear your favourite self-care routines for inspiration!

This is such a lovely post! I really like the self-care practices you listed, I myself love having a warm/hot shower, it's even better if you can sit down in the bottom of the shower and let the hot water hit your back.

Some things I like to do for self-care include:

- Making myself a matcha latte every morning, it's a very therapeutic process

- Putting on a face mask/doing my usual skincare routine

- Baking sweet treats

- Listening to music/podcasts/video essays on YouTube

- Bushwalking

- Spending time with pets

- Playing cosy or nostalgic videogames

I love going for walks and watching the sunset too!

- journalling

- listening to music/podcast

- skin care

- colouring in

- Watching my favourite shows and movies.

- Going for a drive.

- Showering.
