What songs do you like to listen to when you’re struggling?

Personally, I love listening to music and I especially find it useful listening to certain songs when I’m going through a rough time. These are songs whose message or lyrics or even just sound are comforting and help me to feel a bit better.

What are some songs that you like to listen to when you’re having a rough time?

Songs that I like include:

Rainbow by Kacey Musgraves

The Climb by Miley Cyrus (it’s a bit cliche but it’s a great song!)

Head Above Water by Avril Lavigne

breathin by Ariana Grande

Younger Me by Brothers Osborne

You Will Be Found from Dear Evan Hansen

Hey @Blue_Dolphin !

I love this idea 🥰!!! I am personally someone whose first instinct when I'm down is to listen to reflective or sad music. But, lately i've been trying to get into the habit of listening to feel good music instead!

There's nothing like something upbeat and a little dancy to cheer me up, and this year my go to for this has been anything from Chappell Roan's album The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess 😁. I've been loving the vibes so much that my Spotify Wrapped top 5 songs are all from this album hehe 😂.

Loving seeing everyone's suggestions here!

That's a really smart idea @Scarlet_Locust, I often forget how much music can affect my mood, in both positive and negative ways!

I love Chappell's music and other more upbeat artists like Fletcher, G Flip and Miley Cyrus, who I often only listen to when I'm in a good mood. I might try listening to them next time I'm feeling a bit low, to see if their music uplifts my mood a bit! 😊

I used to sort of immerse myself into the sadness and listen to 'I was all over her' but now i really enjoy folk music. Especially this girl I discovered Ailsa Mitchell, shes sooooo good!

Hey there,

I personally rely on music alot to heal myself during my difficult days. A few months earlier I was having a hard time and I somehow came across 2 k-pop songs that have now become my go to songs:

Circles -Seventeen
Yawn- Seventeen

I was never into k-pop before but when I saw the English translation of lyrics, it became a great source of comfort. I hope it provides comfort to others as well...
