@Esperanza67 It wasn’t very helpful as he had quite a bit of internet connection issues and only got a couple of exchanges in the half hour we talked. @linkinpark13 Thank you so much! ❤️

@Esperanza67 thank you for the hugs! I’m a bit scared of calling as I don’t really want my family hearing anything! Fortunately tonight I got through right after I posted! Alas, my counsellor and I had a bit of trouble with the connection and I wouldn’t call the conversation super helpful. I was recommended trying to find a Headspace center which I will definitely look into. Fingers crossed I can convince my Mum to take me. I mean it’s counselling, its free from what I understnad, and they can’t put me on meds so I hope she’ll agree to it.

@linkinpark13 thank you for checking up on me! i’ve been doing pretty crap with the whole moving. my family deemed me pretty much useless and sent me to walk the dog and babysit the whole time. i’ve been trying to set up KHL but the past few weeks when i’ve remembered to set up something the webchat lines have been full! so that’s been a bit of a bust but i have to stay persistent.

@TOM-RO I did think about KHL, though I keep accidently putting it off because I tend to have time to myself in the evenings and I think webchat only operates until 10? I think I need to check and organise something. @linkinpark13 Thank you so much for the kind words! <3 It felt really hard on me to hear that from my coordinator, but I am glad that she cares. The kinesiology is pretty good, the effects are quite shortterm? I usually have a better day after going but haven’t noticed any major changes. Then again things take time. The counsellor has been quite sick and away, she hasn’t responded to my emails, so I think she may still be sick. I only have a couple more weeks of school then I definitely need to set up KHL for the holidays or it’ll be really hard to cope...

Ah I’m feeling not so great lately. I thought I had been functioning ok but apparently not... My year level coordinator came up to me the other week and talked about how she was concerned for me and how off my game was and that I looked sad all the time. This has really affected me I guess, I thought school was the one place where I passed as happy, but apparently not. Furthermore, I had a small talk with Mum today who told me to “Choose to be happy! Just smile!”. I’ve finished my kinesiology sessions, my next one is much much later in December, the counsellor from school has been unavailable, and I feel really alone in talking to anyone about this. I want to talk to my friends but I feel annoying and like an attention seeker. I don’t know how I will cope. We’re moving next week and I’m barely packed. I’m feeling kind of broken down and wanting sleep, then wake up later... lol :P

@lokifish Packing is going alright! I'm getting things done little by little, but we're getting there! I've sorted through part of closet as well so I'm proud for having done that.

Yeah i think that could help, especially trying to adopt the allowing myself to stand back instead of scraping stones with a fingernail (really weird analogy right there)

Does anyone else get so super stressed about doing something that they just end up crying/ stressing/trying, to do the task that they just don’t end up doing it? E.g (for me) was working on an assignment but having trouble concentrating so much I started stressing myself out about not concentrating that I just ended up crying over and stressing over the assignment, forcing myself to try do it, but just ended up... not being able to do it or finish it. any tips for these sorts of situations? Does anyone else get them too?

@Bee I probably will considering its only a couple of sessions and although I’m not sure if its a pro/con but her more clinicalness might help my Mum take it more seriously when time comes to convince, or like completely scare her away... thank you!

@Bee Yeah it is the counsellor I didn’t quite click with. I think I’ll try saying something about that directly, I have mentioned it in the sessions during the time my Mum is also part of the discussion. I’m a little bit scared though haha, I can already hear her telling me about vitamins and getting out of bed more often. I feel like I’m making excuses, but I’ll really try.

@Bee Thank you for the response! The ‘her’ is the new counsellor as my old school one left. I’ve been thinkig about discussing options with my Mum after the last kinesiology session as I don’t think she’ll be open to much else until then. Kinesiology has been pretty good, I haven’t noticed any major changes but the day or two after an appointment is always a good day. I think i need the counsellor to talk with her as well like a middleman last time.

As a slight collector of ipad/iphone games here are a list of my favorites: Fight List - This is my number one game that has saved me from more than a dozen doses of overthinking. It works really well because it gets you to list and think of different things according to a category which essentially draws your attention away from anything because you have to think about something else. Could not recommend it more. Give it a go whether its for fun or to distract yourself! Threes - I've been playing this so much, ever since I got bored of 2048. I have a love-hate relationship with it as I usually play it when I'm feeling really down and bleh. Neko Atsume - I've finished the game but it's so cute and I recommend it to anyone Egg Inc - Super fun tycoony game! Very addicting and creative Steppy Pants - Difficult but it feels amazing when you get the hang of it Plants VS Zombies (1 or 2) - If you haven't played PvZ where have you been? lolol classic and super fun game Zombie Tsunami - Fun game I've spent waaaaayyyyy too much time on Tigerball - Somehow everyone at my school is addicted to this game? Very fun and challenging Tomb of the Mask - Aracde like game, I haven't gotten to any of the harder levels but the start is kind of easy, its fun and arcadey. High School Story - This has been my guilty pleasure game while I still had motivation to log in everyday, it's a little bit childish I guess but I've thoroughly enjoyed all the storylines and it's totally playable without purchasing anything.

Ah! I love learning languages. I speak Hungarian at home (the 4th hardest language in the world!) and obviously English lol. I learn Indonesian at school and will be learning Japanese next year which I'm really excited for! I also know a little bit of Italian! I tried teaching myself Korean for like point 2 seconds until I gave up so that it won't mush with Japanese in my brain. I'm planning to try and continue learning Indonesian in my spare time once I switch schools. It seems like a shame to have the basics then waste it

hey there i'm feeling a little, well how to describe it ahhh? my lovely teacher at school got the counselor to see me, it was kind of an impromptu thing but I managed to see her anyway. I explained the situation and she told me about possible situations e.g psychology/therapy but she also mentioned medication. that kinda freaked me out entirely. i am very very scared of medication. i don't like taking medicine to like the point of painkillers. i really hate taking it unless i really have to. she was also quite clinical about the whole situation, which is fair enough. but overall i didn't really click with her, BUT (silly me) I said i'd want to see her. i think i was just happy to be talking to someone so i just said her. she talked about trying to talk to my mum about getting me to psychiatrist and that kind of scares. what have your experiences been with psychiatrists vs pyschologists, and with medication if you take any? (especially if they're OCD meds) this all kind of comes because i have my last kinesiology session next week, and after that its like $110 a session, which is not very affordable regularly at all. and even worse, my mum thinks i've been making good progress when really... i've just got better at hiding it. my hand washing compulsion has gone down a lot in the past couple of months and slowly been replaced by knocking on wood. anyways feeling a little worried... i'm wondering if i should try her? should i be worried about psychiatrist/medication? how will i get my mum on board with anything after the kinesiology sky rockets and i seem to be doing fine? blah- kind of exhausted. thank you for reading

So just as an update, I had my first kinesiology appointment yesterday. I actually think it helped, as I noticed that after the appointment my i did my compulsions less than usual which is a positve. Of course no drastic changes as that takes time but it was better than I thought it would be. I have 4 more appointments then who knows. Thanks for all those who supported.

ooo! i write a bit of poetry on the side! i use it to express my feelings, and declutter my head sometimes lol. one of my poems, gray, ↓ have you ever noticed how the night sky is gray? unending a canopy of clouds like a barrier like a cage there seems to be no stars there seems to be no moon it is gray and it is threating it will swallow you so watch out before you become lost in the thick, suffocating clouds sitting on top sinking in the mist you feel like you're falling but you won't move an inch though there is one positive as your air is tight you look up above and the sky is not gray it is filled with stars

Hello all, I’ve already posted a bit but I guess this would be my first proper introduction! I’m Star. (Also I love the Ninjago theme! I looooved Ninjago) If you could control any element, what would it be? I think I’ll say air, not only because its my zodiac, but I could use it to lift me up and be able to fly! What is your favourite snack? Trolli sour worms! I could eat myself sick with those. I love sour candy. What are you going to do during your holidays (if you have any this month)? I’m planning to meet with as many friends as possible as the holidays are usually when I’m in my worst state of mind, so hoping that I could stay in action. What gets you motivated? Good question lol. And the final question... What's your favourite song to dance and sing to? comIN’ OUT OF MY CAGE- I love Mr Brightside lol.
