@Tiny_leafOh ok, odd. Tho i have heard of odder. Dad must of really liked that dog tho, cause almost a decade ago he got another dog, which we still have. Who has the exact some colouring as the dog had from when he was younger. They are so similar (apparently), that I sometimes hear my Grandma calling our dog by the dead dog's name, espically when she's patting her. The dog doesn't seem to mind, or notice really, I guess she just likes pats.

@Tiny_leafIf u're referring to the dog my Dad heard about the death of from his brother. That dog wasn't a puppy, she was very elderly. I think she was blind and deaf when she died or something as well. Though I never actually met the dog, it was one of the one's my Dad had years ago.

@Hozzles @ecla34 Ah, Duolingo. I don't know y i continue to let a green owl yell at me to get me to learn french. Though sometimes it motivates me to actually wake up and do something that is somewhat routine.

@indieinsanus, That sounds like a great idea, I love the idea of backpacking places or hiking. But I've been putting off going hiking for a couple of years cause I'm inexperienced and don't really have anyone close to me who'd be willing to go with me. I was thinking earlier this year, that I should just go by myself, but well now this whole things happened. Ah well.

@WheresMySquishyIn regards to scenic train journey: I've heard there are long trains routes in europe which go between countries, which I'd love to try. Though I overheard a family member talking about an experience involving a cheap train ticket, that led to an overcrowded train without aircon, on a hot day, a train breakdown, and a sudden illegible train announcement in German. So research is advised! One thing I really miss about lockdown, is going on the train. Doesn't matter where, though preferably the city (/long journey), preferably with a window seat. Just a book and some music, or a podcast, and all the buildings rushing past. When lockdown ends, I want to catch a train somewhere, wearing my Doctor Who cosplay and reading a good book.

@WheresMySquishy, @Hozzles, @ecla34 In regards to how to keep tabs on where u're up to in books: things i find helpful: - Goodreads; it's an app in which u can record ur progress in a specific book as well as keep track of books in "shelves" labelled to-read, reading and read. Can create an unfinished "shelf" for books u have to return to the library or a friend, and it will keep progress for when u want to move a book back to reading. - Keep all physical copies of books you're currently reading in the same place, preferably near where u read. For me that's next to my bed. - Bookmarks; can be anything, but I prefer magnetic ones. Makes it harder for them to come out when my book is in my backpack, or really any bag. - For ebooks; if have ereader, put on top of pile of books that you're currently reading, it's a book. - For reading ebooks and audiobooks on phone; keep book related apps in the same place on the phone. I have a folder called "books", also keep library book apps like Overdrive there. - See what u have; every now and then, go through all physical books, ebooks and audiobooks and actually assess what books u already have. If you're anything like me, there's a lot. - For general encouragement in reading; dare a friend to a book race. (Eg. See who can finish the Harry Potter series first.) Gives u someone to talk about the series with, and brings some otherwise lacking competition to the reading world. - Also sometimes the threat of spoilers can be a great motivator, though spoilers can also be a double-edged sword for motivation. So moderation. - Last but not least, memes; they're a great way to enjoy you're fav part of a book with someone. Old-fashioned conversation works too.

Wouldn't it be more efficient to include as many perspectives as possible to the concept, even non-human ones? Then wouldn't we measure subjectiveness based on how far each set of opinions was likely to stray from a then established norm?

In regards to the knee buckling thing (tho not completely). When my Dad was younger, his brother called him out of the blue, told him to sit down, said he had bad news, made sure he was sitting down. Then told him his elderly dog had died. My dad being my dad, burst out laughing. Apparently he thought he was going to say that his Mum (my Grandma) had died or something. Make of that what you will.

@lokifish I like the bird gif. It looks cool. Reminds me of this spot where u can feed wild birds out of the hand. I remember going there and giving them sunflower seeds. They were all so colourful, but also incredibly greedy. Was overtaken by a tourist company type thing last time I went there tho.

Find an awesome winter gif. What do you like about said gif? I like birds, and this one looked funny. What's your favourite cold day activity? At the moment? Fire/heater, book, late into the morning. Can even be ebook or webtoon. Close runner-ups: Having a warm drink. Can be chocolate flavoured or chai latte, tho not a fan of coffee. Going for a walk just after it's rained and the air is crisp. Would go while it's raining, but the dog drags her feet. Wearing a big heavy coat and pretending I'm Hagrid. What is your favourite thing about winter? It rains, my plants love it. Everything smells less, even body oder. I can wear scarfs without getting overheated, sometimes. What is your favourite way to warm up in winter? Big fire, or warm drink. Tho having a big blanket to cover a heating vent was always fun. What's your favourite season and why? Depends, when I was in primary school I remember liking Summer because teachers would put on the air conditioner. Currently, I'm not sure, maybe closer to equinox.
