How can we help others who are experiencing holiday blues? I reckon we can keep in contact with people and maybe take them out and do something nice with them. People tend to stay inside a lot sometimes so getting out of the house could be good for some people.

4. What are some self-care strategies that you would suggest that could help cope with the holiday blues? A recurrent theme is isolation and problems with people so I think keeping in touch with your support group and good friends and making sure to look out for eachother.

3. What causes your holiday blues? / What do you struggle with the most during holidays? I think just the increased amount of alone time I have, and being left alone with my thoughts. It's also difficult with a lack of structure, I tend to have to work harder to create a routine and do the basics like brush my teeth and eat properly.

What do the holidays mean to you? They pretty much mean, use your time with less obligations to get your shit together and organise your life as well as spend more time with, and get closer to your fam.

What is your favourite thing about the holidays? Do you enjoy them? My favourite thing is getting to do what I want to do and not having to deal with overdue schoolwork, deadlines and being more social. I enjoy the break, but the amount of time I have to myself makes it a bit harder as well as the fact that my family can be really grumpy sometimes.

I feel defeated by depression and like there's nothing I could do to fix it. I don't feel like doing anything self-care wise. I just felt the need to tell someone and someone to hear me.

I think the way everyone supports each other is my favourite thing. We've built a community that people feel they can share anything in and along the way made very good friends. Sometimes I forget that I've never met any pf you in person.

It’s kinda both @lokifish. I know how to start I terms of exercise but it’s acrually starting it and then keeping to it too. There’s a site that hasn’t a monthly schedule that I can use. The longest I’ve gone is two days :p
