Hi all, I had quite a bed panic attack on Wednesday night and haven’t felt good since. I experienced bad headache yesterday and shakiness today. Is recovery after a panic attack a thing or am I just mental?

Thanks guys. I've been interacting with him by tagging him in stuff on Facebook. He is away at the moment but I'm going to try my hardest when he comes back to talk to him and stuff and yeah going to the gym with him will definitely be a thing.

Hey Guys, so I want to reconnect with my brother as I haven't really had much to do with him for the last few years as I have stuggled with depression and virtually shut down to anyone over that time. I am getting better and feel I may be able to handle relationships with family again. Was just looking for suggestions on how to do so though. Am thinking maybe doing something with him we both like, like gyming or something like that.

@Bay52VU I got in to volunteering as I am studying part time and needed something to do for the other three days of the week. I wanted experience at a school so I emailed the local school and asked if I could help out a couple days a week. The schools really good cause I don't need to many skills and I learn skills as I go. Some days I literally just talk to the kids or read with them.

Excellent thread @j95, I have been volenteering for the past 10 months at my local primary school. It's pretty rewarding. I mostly help out in the kindergarten class and honestly seeing these kids grow as people is the best. Being a volenteer I don't have to worry about grading or anything for these kids so I enjoy really getting to know them and helping them achieve their full potential. Another benefit for me that I get out of volunteering at the school is it gives me something to do and it gives me some pretty good experience for my future career.

Hey all! So it turns out it was just a cold, I allowed myself a few days to rest and I now seem to be back up and going with life 😊

Hey guys. Thanks for responding:) Honesty I think it could be a cold, I do work with kids so there is always someone sick at my work. I think then because of the cold mixed with the demands of work/study/sport at the moment I am exhausted. Apart from the retreating into my own head, not being able to concentrate and the tiredness I don't seem to have any symptoms that the depression is coming back, I think I may just be being overly cautious as last time depression took me a long while to get back to normality fand it was not fun.

Just after some peoples opinions. Been feeling exhausted and wanting to retreat into my head over the last week or so. Now this could simply be exhaustion and nothing else. But it can also be a sign of my depression coming back as this is what happened last time. Or... could simply be a cold. It's a fine line with how I treat it anyhow. If it is a cold/exhaustion taking a few days off to rest would be very beneficial. But if it is depression, staying home and sleeping is not the best course of action.

What is your favourite word? Antidisestablishmentarianism What are the advantages and disadvantages of being the height you are? Advantage I am avrage hight so most signs are at eyeline which helps a heap because I can only see like a metre. Disadvantage, I can only see things at my eyeline so anything put up higher than my eyeline, I can't see it. Do you talk in your sleep? If you do, whats the last thing you know you said? I don't think I've ever sleeped talked, but it is entertaining being ina room with someone who does. Have you ever met anyone famous? or who would you like to meet? I have met a few footy players but the person I would most like to meet is Adam Hills. He is really funny. What is your favourite lolly in the party mix? Hmmm... this is a tough one but I'd have to say milk bottles

Hey Guys, just been reading some of the articles on the website about feeling angry. I am interested in how different people cope when they are feeling angry. Having some of my own issues with anger I have developed ways to reducing my anger. Somw of the ways I reduce anger: Go for a walk, this helps me get away from the situation. Count, this merely distracts me from whatever my mind is cought up on. Focus on my breathing, again this just gives me something else to focus on.

Hey! Who celebrates halloween? How do you celebrate? Do you go trick or treating? Do you have a big party? What are you going to dress up as? I personally don't celebrate it but is seems like a fun concept. If I was to dress up I go as Spyro, or woody from toy story.

Hey Peeps, how's everyone this fine tuesday eveming? I am feeling quite messed up in the head at the moment for once life is going pretty great I've found a sport I enjoy, I'm actually doing quite well at tafe and I have started interacting with people again. But here is where the problem Is, I don't feel the same way about people anymore and since a falling out with my best friend in January where she basically just stopped talking to me for no reason, I find myself not trusting anyone, not letting myself get close to anyone. This has gotten between other good friendships I have had and now I can truely say I don't have a best friend, I don't know if it is something to do with me or what? This effecting me in ways that I wouldn't of thought, I am second guessing myself about being social and I am worried about how this will affect future relationships with people... Will I ever have a best friend again? Or will I be lonely forever pretending that I am comfortable around people?

So I did enjoyable things today, even though I was feeling lonely and depressed for most of the day. I of course played Pokemon, then I went to the gym and watched a movie. I have also come up with two new things that are enjoyable. 1) there is a new path going past apartments and new parks and stuff down near the lake at my house, I liks walking that path and thinking to myself "One day I am going to live there." And 2) I have gotten myself one of those tin money boxs that you can't open and I have been saving a dollar a day, it really helps me feel a sense of achievement.
