Sunflower Lanyard arrived!

my aunt ordered me a sunflower lanyard 🙂

Sunflower lanyards are to signify that someone has a hidden disability and that they may need some extra help.

I got mine mainly for when i catch a flight later in December, plus it'll be good for excursions and things in the future.

It is black but hopefully its still recognisable.

Can't wait to customize it 🙂

Hi@gay_disabled_human thats so awesome!  Your aunt is literally such a legend. I've been thinking about getting one lately cos I'm neurodivergent but I'm worried about being judged lol.

How will you customise it?

Hi AcidMonster55

I'm autistic and can totally relate to the fear of being judged for who you are as someone who's been through a lot of negative things said to me and about me because I'm different I think in the long run you have to look at in the light that there are always going to be people who are going to judge you because of your differences but stay who you are because in the long run you'll realise that it's not what's said about you that defines who you are but it's how you view yourself and what you think of yourself that matters your strengths and your differences are what make you unique and just keep reminding yourself that it's okay to be who you are despite what people may say about you

Hi i know that feeling like you have a hidden disability can be a tricky thing to navigate especially if it's not certain if you do or not but you are not alone there are so many supportive people here that have all been through different experiences in regards to identity but if you ever need someone to reach out to i'm always happy to talk and i'm sure that so many others will be as well that Lanyard looks so amazing!!

Welcome back!
