This is to all the Reachout staff and other awesome people that contribute to the community.
You guys (and girls 😜 ) are so awesome. I don't know how many people have had to tell you to believe it. You spend so many hours reading through the forums and talking to everyone and helping everyone out as much as possible.
One of the cool things about you all, is that you actually take your time to reply and really do your best.
Just wanna say, along with everyone you've helped, thanks for being sso cool. and keep doing what you do. 🙂
I'm going to be in the Geelong area for a few more weeks if any staff wanna meet up and grab a coffee and chill out somewhere. 🙂

Thanks for your appreciation post, you guys are amazing at supporting each other and we're so happy we get to help facilitate that 🙂
We're really glad you've been able to join the community. Although we totally get where you're coming from, RO is a 100% online service and we would like to maintain that anonymity for users because we believe that's part of why everyone feels comfortable and safe using RO and sharing on here, which is very important to us.

Awwww @RandomName! That is so, so appreciated! Unfortunately we are definitely just online people although you can volunteer as a YA or a Mod, and then you might get to meet some of us! We also do occasionally appear at events like Mardi Gras and you can 100% come and say hi at things like that! It's probably more just the random hanging out stuff that we're not allowed to do.
It's not that we don't want to hang out with people offline, it's just a case of making sure we keep it to online because that's what we're set up to do! If we hang out with and support people offline it can actually be a bit risky for the person, because we can't be as consistent in the support (or coffees) that we provide and that might be really bad if a person wasn't feeling so great and came to us for help when we weren't in the office for example- or if we just had no idea what to do to help (we don't know everythin!). Also if we have one thing for one person and then another thing for another person that's not equitable (fair) so basically long story short the bosses wrote some rules, one of which is essentially - keep a boundary between what you can do as a person who works to help ReachOut out and other not ReachOut stuff.
If i could i would though, there's a little over 5,000 people on here, and i'd love to have a coffee with all of you! Seriously 🙂
