Are there any particular strategies you've used to help avoid self harm, such as having a shower, listening to your favourite music or talking with someone you trust? Sometimes we can feel less comfortable talking with someone we know, so it can be really helpful to also talk with a professional support such as Kids Helpline who are a fantastic service. You can call them anytime on 1800 551 800 or online.
