Hi @The-girl-with-the-fish
Wow I haven't thought about NAPLAN in years! I remember when I was going through it, it was also stressful for me too. Lots of people were concerned about passing, myself included.
I think in a test situation it is very important to stay calm and take a few deep breaths, as not everyone finds it easy to keep calm during tests. I definitely empathise, it's a lot of pressure. It's also good to remember that once you've finished, you'll never have to deal with it again! 😌 The most important mindset to get into is to remember that you are trying your best.
Following @Invictus-Ernest would you like to share what specific concerns you have about NAPLAN?
As for study tips, I find that schedules are useful. This may not work for everyone but it could be worth giving a go. Make a schedule of your week and block in the time for study for different aspects of NAPLAN, time spend at school, time for yourself (self care!) and time for any other activities you have going in your life.
I also find that when you are motivated to study and/or study in smaller time slots with frequent breaks, you tend to intake more information. If you've been studying for a while and start to feel exhausted, it might be time to take a break. If you're tired, unmotivated, and not at all energised taking in information will be more difficult and you'll be wasting your own time. Teachers often reminded me of this in highschool and it seemed to work for me.
Hope this was helpful and you are looking after yourself leading up to the NAPLAN 🙂
