yesterday wasn’t the best mentally but I did some study and watched the footy. Carlton won so I was happy.

I am on campus today to have a little study session with one of my friends because I need to finish some assessments. Studying alone at home is boring and can be distracting.

Yeah, I understand that, @Red_Flamingo. When we are not busy, we can start to think about things more deeply, which can cause us to feel all sorts of emotions. I've been there!

TAFE was pretty good today. I got a few things done, but I still need to finish a few assessments. I will work on those during the week.

I am currently studying for a diploma in counselling. Next year, I am considering pursuing a psychology degree, but I still have to make up my mind.

I just returned from Pilates; every Monday at 6 pm, I have a reformer Pilates class. Now I am just in bed 😊
That's cool. I am sure you'll do great if you decide to do that.
I had a homemade hamburger. I'm studying a double degree, bachelor of health science/science majoring in nutrition and biochemistry.
Cool, how long have you been doing the reformer pilates class? I'd love to give it a go, but I have really sore hips and am so unfit, lol.
I'm about to go to bed myself. I have work at 6:30 tomorrow.

Oh, and to answer your question regarding pilates, the instructor can always guide you through which movements you can do if you have soreness or an injury, so I would encourage you to try a class and see how you go. You don't have to be fit to do pilates; you can start with a beginner's class. That's how I started! You become more robust and fitter with practice.
Yeah, it is very hard, but I'm enjoying it.

It's good that you enjoy it! It's important to like what we do because it makes it easier to stay motivated and on track.
Yes, you are right. Reformer pilates can be expensive. I have a gym membership that includes everything, like access to pools, spas, saunas, classes, and the gym area, for $30 a week. My previous gym was just a basic gym with no classes or anything else, and I was paying $23 a week, so I find my current membership more worth it. But I know that $30 can be expensive for some.
I am at home today but have an online class tonight, so I will work on assessments and readings. I just had a shower, did my meditation and now have to study, which is making me anxious 😅

It is normal to feel nervous before an appointment with your psychologist because it can be tricky talking about what you are going through, but I am sure it will be okay. Let me know how you feel after it.

I didn't end up going. I needed to look at the lecture content before, but I didn't get to do it all because of work, so I've been reviewing it this morning and will watch it later.

Yes, on Wednesdays, it is in person, which I enjoy a lot more than online Zoom classes.
Fair enough, I get nervous too sometimes when I see my psychologist or psychiatrist, but they should be able to provide you with a safe space to open up so you feel comfortable and not judged. Are you happy with your current psychologist?
After my class, I will go home and catch up on assessments. At 6 pm, I booked another pilates class, which I was anxious about for some reason, even though I loved it.
My class finishes around 4 pm, so not too long left.
Yeah, I know. My mum won't be happy if I tell her, lol. She thinks it's like high school. This is my third year at university, so I'm sure I have some sort of knowledge about what classes I need to go to.
That's good. Is most of your course online?
I am happy overall with him but its just he has upset a like at least four of five times over the past few months. I'm just unsure how to get past it all. I don't want to start again with someone new. I've seen this psych for a year now and I still haven't cried or anything. I swear the waiting to see him is the worst when I'm like this. The anxiety sucks. I'm listening to Taylor Swift so that is helping a little.
My appointment is at 1:45.
Mmm that's odd. Anxiety is an odd one though and can trigger a lot things.

I apologise for the late response. Today was a bit full-on. I came home and started working on assessments, had dinner, and then went to my pilates class. Now I am home.
I had a read through your post about your psych session. I am so sorry to hear that it didn't go well and it made you upset. A psychology session shouldn't make you upset, specifically the psychologist. It sounds like you need your weekly sessions, and they do not understand that, so that is probably why they think you depend on them. Another reason is that they might feel that you are getting better, but they should still ask for your input on how often you want to see them.
My experience with psychologists is that I have come across a lot of them; they shouldn't be telling you directly that you are becoming dependent on them... if you need the weekly sessions because you know your mental health currently isn't the best, then they should acknowledge that.
Have you spoken to your family about it? Is there anyone else that can support you through this?
It is okay to need to see your psychologist weekly when going through a hard time.
