I feel like running away from home
Hi, I feel like running away from home because I am super sad and I have no clue how to make myself happy. I do have a little bit of money if I were to run away from home I could easily get food and a drink. I just feel like crying and I have no clue why.

Hi @Sophia1998 , sorry to hear that you are feeling this way. How are you feeling now?
I hope you are safe and feeling better mentally, sometimes the stressors of life can feel all too much at times and trigger us to feel like we need to drop everything and move away. If you are safe, sometimes it is better to sit in your feelings and try to figure out what is causing you to feel this way.
I think @Iona_RO suggested a good idea about devising a plan to move away safely if this is what you feel is the best thing to do. Hope you're OK!
I am still safe and I am a lot happier yay because my mum will be giving me her old Apple Watch that she doesn’t use anymore so that has got me all excited. Yay
It's great that you feel a lot happier now @Sophia1998 .
When you are feeling safe and happier, have you considered or planned what you 'could' do in the future if you feel down about something?
For example, brainstorm strategies you could use for when times are tough?
By the way, enjoy your apple watch!
Glad to hear you're safe and happy! I've always wanted an Apple Watch - those things do everything :')
Take care 🙂
Hey @Sophia1998
I just wanted to check in to see how you're doing today?
You've mentioned that you want to run away from home because you're feeling super sad, do you want to share a little more about what's making you feel that way?
Instead of running away from home, how would you feel about writing out a bit of a plan of how you can find a way to move out from home in a safe way? That might be by finding a job that suits your disability needs, or it might be through a service that can support you to live more independently. We would be happy to help you find some referrals that might be able to help you with this 😊
hey, @Sophia1998 . How are you feeling today? It'd be great to hear from you.
Hey @Sophia1998 Nice to see you here. Sorry to read things are not good. I would encourage you to keep reaching out and to contact Kids helpline or BeyondBlue if you wanted to chat to someone about it more.
I'm sorry to hear that you're not doing well, but I'm glad to hear you're hanging in there. If there's anything specific you want to talk about, let me know.
