I keep experiencing stuff spiritually
Hi, I don't know if this is the right platform to say this but I have been having rlly strange experiences in the last 2 yrs. Ps it's spiritual so idk weather I'm allowed to post this or if I'm wasting time. But I feel that it's gonna mentally affect me in the long run so I'm just gonna say. And sorry if I'm not making any sort of sense.
I live in a neighbourhood which is relatively old (1915-1920) and there are alot of old weatherboard houses that still stand on the street (i reside in one). Anyways, my house along with the two either side of me are all over 100 yrs old now and last year one of them was knocked down for a new house to be built...I had never had any feeling or concern for ghosts or spirits within that house but it started on the night of august 11 2022 when the asbestos was removed that morning.
I had my first strange event occur. I had a dream that I was standing in the middle of the street and all the houses including mine were dark and empty, no curtains, nothing. But when I turned to look at my neighbours house, it was like sunlight beaming out from every window, it felt so warm aswell. But when I walked toward it it would immediately darken and look like the other houses...and wailing and crying would be heard from the house...then the dream would end.
It repeated about 5 times that week till the entire structure of the house was gone.
Nothing rlly happened when the land was cleared except till now. My neighbour is moving in next week so the house is pretty well done and is just a room bigger then what originally stood. Anyway, my laundry window and his new dining room window line up with eachother, and it was about 1 in the morning and I was putting the last washing on...both my house and next door were dark so there was only light from the outside...anyway I close the lid to the washer and look up out the window and I notice that there is a woman standing in the dining room window in the new house. I immediately thought someone has broken in and is stealing stuff....but then she literally dissipated into thin air...this woman btw was just like a human. Even the shadow of the edge of the window was cast on her....she looked real. She was facing inward but her head turned toward the kitchen, what would have been where the living room stood in the old place. She was crying. Bawling her eyes out. She also was wearing cloths that no intruder would wear. She was wearing a dress with a corset underneath, had her hair done up 1920s - 30s style. Her dress was brown with a collar that had white trim. Her posture was immaculate aswell. She looked like she was wearing your typical 1920s-30s housewife cloths. This all happened within a second. I then remembered my dream and it lines up with the crying and stuff....I rlly wanna tell people about this bc I can't debunk. She was also standing around where the house would have originally ended in the 20s, near the laundry and living room area, and the fact she is looking in the original houses direction and crying is also something strange...is she sad that the house is gone...was she the original owner or smth. Idk...
It's driving me crazy bc people keep calling me crazy...but I know what I saw...I could also feel sadness when I saw her and I also felt dread when the house was torn down.... the guy who owns the house even got emotional talking about tearing it down bc it was so old. But was in rlly bad shape so he needed to for health reasons...but it makes me think...has this spirit been provoked bc her house has been touched for the first time in probably 50 years, did she live there and have a family...idk...I just feel crazy. I need someone's opinion bc it's the clearest thing I have seen and it has made me believe more that there is something.

Hi @Blue_Hedgehog,
Thank you for being so courageous and sharing what you are going through.
I'm sorry to hear that you're having a hard time coming to terms with what you have experienced. I can just imagine how tough and scary it must have been to have experienced a spiritual encounter after having those dark dreams. I'd like to know how you are feeling after sharing this with the community? I can also understand how emotional you might be feeling when you feel like nobody understands what you have seen and may not believe you. You also said that you have been having certain experiences for the last 2 years, so I'd also like to know how you managed your thoughts and emotions during this time?
I look forward to hearing from you soon!
Hey @Blue_Hedgehog
Spirituality is different for everyone, many don't believe in ghosts or similar which means they often call people that see these things crazy. In my opinion, this is because some people are more open to these experiences whether it is due to a natural ability to see the unseen, practice in seeing these things, or other causes.
As someone who is quite spiritual I understand how scary it can be to see these things sometimes, and how much it can affect your own emotions. From a spiritual point of view, I also would recommend a few things to help you feel less affected by these emotions that have been brought up and to also make you feel protected in your space. Personally, I recommend finding a way to emotionally protect yourself, many do this through setting up mental wards through meditation, others use physical wards such as plants or crystals, including wearing crystal jewelery, and some also like to cleanse their space. These wards can help you set up a field of safety around yourself and/or your house to stop these strong emotions from getting to you and affecting you as they currently are. They also may help you be able to take a step back and see things more clearly. Personally, I wear a crystal necklace everyday, have crystals placed around my room, and have a few other items I use as wards around my house and especially bedroom as I find myself more open to my abilities and therefore affected in that space.
I know some of these ideas can be fairly pricey such as crystal jewellery but there are many budget friendly ways to do this as well. Meditiation is free and can be done in your own space and there are so many resources online for it. Cinnamon sticks are often placed above peoples doors and windowsills for protection and are easily available at the grocery store, other wards can be made yourself and plants are also generally fairly cheap (though not everyone has a green thumb)
I know many people may not believe in or agree with using wards and other forms of spirituality to help you but personally this is what I find works for myself and maybe will be helpful for you too! Whether it is truly something magical making these things work or it is just a placebo affect on the mind it helps anyways and is used by so many people.
Also if you do ever want to attempt making contact with this spirit it is best you have some sort of wards in place. I'd recommend a trip to a spiritual store if you have one near you as the workers there can be very supportive and helpful with these things, they also generally have a wide range of books/supplies that can help you. Otherwise some bookstores also keep a wide range of spiritual books in hand, I find QBD books great for this!
I hope everything goes well for you and don't be afraid to ask further questions if you are interested in this topic. I'm not sure how many others on commuity are spiritual but I can definitely try to answer any questions you may have! These sorts of experiences often are what cause people to begin spiritual practices which can be quite amazing but also quite daunting at first.
Hey @Blue_Hedgehog thank you for sharing your story with us and being so open about these strange experiences. It sounds like it has rattled you and left you feeling quite shaken, especially because no one will believe you about what you've been seeing. Regardless of whether ghosts are real or not, your experiences are obviously very real for you, and so it's understandable that it would be having an impact on you. I can imagine it's been quite isolating to experience this, and be called crazy for it. I'm glad you've decided to share with us here, because you don't deserve to be alone in this. It sounds like no one has really believed you, but has anyone been at least sympathetic and willing to listen to your experiences? Being able to talk about it openly might be really helpful for you. I hope that even just sharing with us here has helped you to feel a little lighter.
