🌟 The Power of Positive Affirmations 🌟
Hey everyone! 😊
I would love to share a topic with you all that I am really passionate about: the power of positive affirmations. Affirmations are simple, empowering statements that we say to ourselves, which help us rewire negative thought patterns and build a sense of confidence and self-worth. I use positive affirmations everyday, to help me be my best self, enhance my confidence, and optimise my mental wellbeing.
Negative emotions hinder our vibrational frequencies as humans, while positive emotions enhance it. This idea is based on manifestation. When we vibrate at a higher, more positive state, we attract the things we desire. (The law of attraction)
How I use positive affirmations 🌈
- As soon as I wake up, I start my day with a positive affirmation, sometimes 1, sometimes many!
- I repeat them during moments of doubt or anxiety throughout my day.
- I also use my affirmations to interrupt negative emotions and limiting beliefs.
- I focus on how these words make me feel, rather than just saying the words.
Here are some simple affirmations I use:
- ‘I am worthy of love and happiness’
- ‘I am enough just as I am’
- ‘I am healthy, well and vibrant’
- ‘I bring light with me, wherever I go’
- ‘I am energised and inspired’
- ‘I am a positive influence on the world’

One of my longtime faves is "I will be gentle with myself. I will allow myself space to grow" 🌷.

I also agree that it's important to make positive affirmations a regular part of our routine. I really like the ones you've suggested and will definitely be giving them a go. 😊

- I am resilient, and I bounce back from difficulties.
- I am doing the best I can, and that’s enough.
- I am deserving of rest and self-care.

This is so inspiring! I love manifestation and attracting all the things that make me more positive. I use positive affirmations mostly during moments of doubt, like at work repeating "I'm doing the best that I can" when I'm feeling distressed (e.g., angry retail customers).
I love the affirmation you mentioned "I am enough just as I am."

Hi @MagsMae, what a lovely post! I agree with you about the power of positive affirmations. I’m a massive overthinker and I get lost in my head a lot so one way that I can calm myself down is through repeating positive affirmations to myself.
Sometimes, my insecurities weigh me down a lot that I become too harsh on myself. So, I wrote down some affirmations that I read whenever I feel that my insecurities are acting up. Here are some of them:
- I am beautiful
- I am creating the life I want
- I believe in me
- I am evolving everyday
- I deserve the best
- I am worthy of love
- I accept myself unconditionally
- I am confident
- I acknowledge my own self-worth
