Seems reallyunfair that at first she would accuse you of not caring for the ginea pigs, and then later say that youre caring too much for the fish! And to an extent, its normal to feel completely stuck when we are in a situation that makes us feel helpless. Often people will speak of fight or flight - but there is a 3rd possibility called freeze, where some of us respond to extreme situations by freezing up. However @VioletThistleKoala if you are concerned about that i would imagine its best to ask the counsellor that you plan to see next week, im sure they can offer some professional advice and support, let us know howe it goes though! 🙂
