Hi @FloralNova675 😊
It's sounding like you'd like to get some help from a GP/therapist but are feeling a bit nervous about it. I just wanted to let you know how normal that is. Talking to a professional about how you're feeling can feel like a big step, but once you get over that hurdle it can really help. Same goes for talking to your parents, but really great to hear that they'd be really supportive! I'm sure they'd want to do whatever they can to help you feel better. I find it super helpful to write some notes down before I have an appointment with my GP. I get really anxious and flustered so it helps me a lot to be able to refer to my notes. Do you think that would help you at all? Or even doing that for when you chat to your parents might help?
Chest pain and shaking can be symptoms of panic attacks, something that would also be good to get some insight from your GP. Listening to music is such a great way to distract yourself - do you have a certain playlist as a go-to when you're feeling like that? Would there be an opportunity to go to a quiet place for a little bit and pop some headphones on when you're at work?
Well I've been to one of your top 5 countries! I did an exchange to Germany when I was at school & then went over to Berlin to stay with a friend a few years ago 🙂 My favourite so far has been South America. I backpacked around Peru, Chile, Argentina and Brazil for 3 months on my own and had such an incredible time. Would love to go back and explore more! Japan and Italy are both on my travel to-do lists too! Fingers crossed we both get to do some adventuring soon 😊
