For me, love at the most foundational level in a relationship is romance, but instead of 'honesty', 'communication', 'trust' and so forth being additional values, it is tied up in love itself. That's what it is like for me though, and I imagine there are many, many more ways of seeing and experiencing it. When I am in love, I don't have to try to communicate, or convince myself to trust that person, because when the love is reciprocated back it all exists effortlessly.
