Hi @Symphony7

I know it's super hard choosing a path for life. I'm currently studying psychology at university and sometimes sorry I've chosen the wrong path and that I should have studied astrophysics instead. Similar to you, these are two very different fields of study 😅. I still don't know if I made the right choice, but I like what I study. The good thing about your potential interests is that it looks like a lot of those you could potentially do some work experience in! I was interested in veterinary medicine in high school and did my work experience in a vet clinic which helped me decide that I didn't want to be a vet. I was glad to find this out before I went to university.

In terms of the price of university, if you are a local student, you can get a commonwealth support place (CSP) which means the government will pay for your university and you will acquire a HECs debt, which you pay off over time once you get a full-time job that meets the minimum threshold, kind of like paying tax. I think this is a much easier way of paying for university than in other countries, such as the USA. It also sounds like you might be able to qualify for some scholarships based on need? I would have a look into that before ruling out university completely because I have really enjoyed my experience so far.

Hope this helps a little!!
