Hmmm, A friend of mine asked their parent why liking someone of the same sex is a sin. And the parent said they needed to have kids. And he asked, then when is it over? The kid will need kids, to what generation will it be over? Just for the bloodline? The kid might even not be their's. So which generation can finally just be happy? 

Perhaps you should communicate it with your mother? My mother is a Christian, however she said that I can be LGBTQA+ so long as I don't like someone over 10 years older than me.
