Hey @Jazz99
Thank you for sharing this with us and for being so honest and open.
I know you mentioned that you’ve been having thoughts of using again which must be really difficult for you to be experiencing, I wanted to highlight how far you have come and even by sharing this with us shows how much strength you have and how hard you are trying. We are very proud of you 💜
It is understandable how frustrating it must be for you to not be able to see a psychologist and receive the support you need. Whilst you are waiting to see a psychologist, I wanted to share a service called turning point that provide online support and counselling. SMART recovery also provides support and resources for addiction, if you’re interested they also have meetings that you can attend online or in person.
I have also included some resources and articles around body image and building self-confidence with you. I know you mentioned how much you enjoyed dancing and thought that these articles might be able to provide some support and help you get back into it. It is understandable that you feel this way, I was wondering if it might be helpful to create some small goals to help you ease back into dancing and slowly build your confidence back up?
I also just wanted to congratulate you on being sober for almost a year, that is such an incredible accomplishment and something you should be really proud of🙌 . Are you planning on doing anything special once you reach this milestone?
Remember that we are all here for you and that you aren’t alone!
