Hey everyone!
I know it`s been a little while, but there`s been a update to this whole crush on my bestie situation. Sooo, she knows now. We were hanging out a coupla days ago in her kitchen and she asked me outright if I liked her. Kinda crazy really, out of all the ways I imagined her finding out, her asking was not something I expected. And to top it off, she was really chill about it! We casually hung out and chatted as we always have, but it was really cool actually, there was like this strange feeling the whole time. It was just different, not a bad different either.
Anyway, she expressed she`s unusure of her own feelings at the moment. That`s to be expected really, she`s still really new to being a part of the LGBTQ community and it might take her some time to figure everything out. But we`ve agreed that we`re not gonna let any of this change our friendship 🙂 We`ve communicated back and forth since then, and have agreed to take a coupla weeks just to sit on everything. We`ll hang out like we always have obviously, but when it comes to being anything else, we`re just taking some time to figure everything out together. Key thing is, we`re not gonna rush anything 🙂 I must admit tho, I can`t help feeling hopeful. She doesn`t know how she feels yet of course, but the way our friendship has been feeling since she found out I liked her... well, it just feels like something`s shifted. Like, she even kissed me, it was on the hand, and before she asked me if I liked her, but still, it had my little heart spinning in butterflies. Whatever happens from here, we`re just gonna be ourselves and communicate. Who knows, we might even end up a thing 🙂 Here`s to quietly hoping...
