Hi CatLover,
I'm curious, is your anxiety specific or is it a general feeling? I think it is helpful to first figure out the source or reason of your anxiety. Then, slowly exposing yourself to what you're anxious about can help you realize that it is not as fearful or consequential as previously expected.
Personally, I was once a very socially anxious person. I've found that what eventually got rid of the anxiety was talking to people about my fears, having them argue against my beliefs, and then eventually confronting the situations I feared and realizing reality was not what I expected. After a few instances of evidence contradicting the source of my anxiety, my anxiety eventually vanished and I formed new, healthier beliefs.
Hope this post helps!
