@ruby_t It's good to hear that you are doing what you can to get some support. It's rough that your mum doesn't quite understand, can make it difficult to want to be open hey. Would it help do you think if you were to talk to her a bit about what would be helpful for you? She may not understand, but you can still express your needs - if that means she checks in on you more often, or gives you some reassurance from time to time, it could make a difference for you. 

 

Getting the energy for self-care when you're feeling down can be so hard. I think just taking it one step at a time, allowing space for the difficult feelings, and being very gentle with yourself, is the way to go. It's great you're here with us too, so we can help you however we can along the way. 💚
