Hi @shruddles ,
I echo what @DDandy has posted. I am also hearing how difficult it is right now and you feel you are at a rock bottom phase in your life.
I read that extreme loneliness, academic pressure and depression is really hitting you hard. I was only reading this article about what to do when you are feeling lonely the other day and thought it may be of help to you. One point that really stuck out for me was "Learn to sit with loneliness" - that is, to accept this feeling. By accepting it, it may be a way to move forward.
As with academic pressure and depression, do you have any supports? For example, have you spoken to perhaps your uni co-ordinators to see if any supports can be in place? Otherwise, another option are uni counselling services. It's important that you get the support you need.
Even having a chat to you GP about it may be a good start.
Alternatively, you can contact:
Kids Helpline 1800 55 1800 https://kidshelpline.com.au/
Headspace https://headspace.org.au/
ReachOut Peer Chat https://au.reachout.com/peerchat
Lifeline 13 11 14 https://www.lifeline.org.au/
You deserve to get all the support you need at this time. As hard as it is right now, it doesn't mean it will stay like this forever.
I'll send through an email shortly.
