My mum's a teacher, so she says i cant have a job cause i'll "ruin my grades" but i've been able to stay on top of everything, even with going out with friends almost every day. She knows I'm a good student, but i havent brought up how good it would be for building a carrer. I might try that tip of phrasing too. It could be easier to get my dad on board too, then have him help me!!
