Hi @Blue_Hedgehog

I can understand how you feel about your final year in school and how it's affecting you. It can be a really tough year but sounds like you are awhere of the effects its having on you which is amazing you have that insight. Acknowledging we have something going on that we are not comfortable with is the first step in dealing with it.

There are many other pathways in life other than going to university so if you know you don't want to do that you can start exploring other options. And some people are not as academic and have. a differnt experience at school too. There are other things about school too like sports, art, music or just hanging out that might interest you more at this stage and that's fine. Do you have any other interests in school that you can identify?

It's great that you reached out here on the Forums and it's a great place to share your thoughs and what you are going through. But have you considered talking with someone about how school and your family are affecting? Sometimes hearing our own words and getting some else's feedback can be really helpful. I'm just wondering could you spkea to your school counsellor about how you are going this year and what can help you get through the rest of the year. There's also Kids helpline who can be great to talk to as well if you felt like that might benefit you.

I'm going to put some ReachOut resourse here too that you might liek to take a look at:

Family dynamics can be challengin too and if we are already under pressure we migh not deal with things in the most ideal way. But have a conversation with you parents about how you feel is a good place to start. It's probably human nature to try and provide a btter life for you children that you did and they might remind you of that from time to time. Our lives are our own experiences though and we can still have it tough even though we have it better than our parents did. Maybe you could discuss some of there's issues with the school counsellor and how to approach a discussion with your parents.

You are doing an amazing job as it is with school and family and I congratulate you on reaching out. We are here on the Forums for you to shre your expereinces any time so please stay conencted.

Take care

Pete-RO
