Hi @FlowingRiver2857 ,

I'm sorry to hear that you have tried to speak to your parents and they haven't taken it seriously. I acknowledge it takes a lot of courage to recognise and speak out about something that does not feel right.

At the same time, I am glad you have taken action to get in contact with the school counsellor. We hope these sessions go well for you.

Have you ever contact KidsHelpline? They have services for one-off calls, but they also have a service where you get to speak to a regular counsellor. You may be interested in this support? You have have a look here: https://kidshelpline.com.au/

Sometimes it's hard to get parents to take things serious. This article about how to get parents to really listen may be helpful. I don't want to bombard you with resources, but when you feel up to it, this is a tip sheet about talking to parents about your mental health.

We look forward to hearing how you go with the counselling. You are not alone. You deserve to feel supported.
