Hi @Livvy_Gold

Thank you for sharing. I was actually in a similar situation to you once upon a time. Something to always keep in mind is that being bisexual or pansexual does not mean you have to like girls and boys (or other genders) exactly 50% or 50% of the time. It is perfectly valid to call yourself bisexual but have only been attracted to a couple of girls in your life. The same goes for the opposite - you can call yourself straight or heterosexual if that feels more comfortable at the moment and you feel like that fits you better. I am attracted to all genders, however just like you, I found myself rarely attracted to girls but felt more comfortable and was more interested in dating girls. Sexual orientation is a really complicated thing! These days, I don't like to go by any label except for 'queer'. That's also an option for you if you don't feel like you fit into a specific label. In fact, you don't have to choose any label at all. I like to think that I'm just 'me' and I don't have any obligation to explain my preferences to anyone. I like who I like and for me, I don't need a label for that.

Another thing to remember is that it's entirely possible for your sexual orientation to change throughout time. There may be times when you feel more attracted to girls and others where you feel more attracted to boys. That's perfectly okay too! Your preferences can change as you grow and change. I know it can be really confusing so we're here for you if you ever need to talk things out! You're valid in whoever you choose to like and whatever labels you want to use. No one else has the right to 'tell you' what you are ❤️
