I do this 100%. I am an overly prepared person because I do worry if something goes wrong. I recently travelled overseas for the first time and I had done so much research and preparation for just the airport alone because that's where I was most concerned if something went wrong. I always find it helps me relax when I am prepared for some form of obstacle or challenge, especially in situations I am not used to. You are not alone
