I would recommend Kulen Waterfalls, Bayon Temple, Pub Street and the lotus farm. These were places I visited, that were tourist attractions, I would recommend some of the villages and schools however I'm not sure what the rules are when it comes to visiting them unless you are with a group. 

And yes that is a meerkat he was really friendly, the group I travelled with the tour guide has a charity farm there and he has two meerkats.
