Hi@Zoolie I can completely get where you're coming from, I practically am always crying in some shape or form when plans change and spend ages agonising over it so you're not alone. It's good to hear you eventually had a good time shopping in the end.
It sounds like this situation with the swearing has definitely brought up a lot of anxiety. If you feel comfortable sharing, have your parents been really strict in the past about swearing at home? Is there a particular time in the past where you got in trouble for swearing that you're worried will happen again? (Again, if you don't feel comfortable sharing that's ok).
When I'm in a potential 'what if' situation I've noticed that making an obstacle and solution list helps a lot. Basically what this entails is breaking up a page into 2 columns, one for obstacles and one for solutions. In the obstacle column, I would write what I'm so afraid might happen (eg I don't get the mark I want, my parents get mad at me, I forget to do this, I get unwanted thoughts etc) and in the solution column a small thing I could do if said obstacles occur (eg review where I got things wrong/make list what to do next time, apologise to parents and promise to never do it again, write down why I don't want to do something, do some deep breathing and challenge thoughts etc). This usually helps me put in perspective whatever it is my brain's worried about and reduce some stress. Maybe you could try to do something similar to prep yourself if you do get in trouble?
Again, I fully relate to your situation as I've had many similar experiences of it. Feel free to get in contact if you need anything else.
Sincerely, Acid. 💚
