That sounds like a difficult situation to be in. I wish there was a straightforward answer.
How do you feel if you think of yourself as trans? Do you feel more comfortable or happier? Does it not make a difference? If you were trans, what would change? Is there anything you’d do differently?
Gender is complicated spectrum that often changes over time. It can be really hard to work out who you are. Ultimately, all you can do try to make yourself feel comfortable or like your authentic self. Labels can be helpful; they are also somewhat limiting. I found it better to work out what I wanted first and then to find a label that matched my experience.
It’s completely understandable to be concerned about your relationship and not wanting to jeopardise it. Could you talk about how you’re feeling with him?
