These are some great strategies. I found that when I am trying to calm myself down to sleep I will journal and listen to music before bed, it helps me switch my thoughts and brain off.
If I am feeling anxious though I will use my weighted blanket and focus on my breathing until I can switch my mind off otherwise sometimes I'll get up and sleep in a different room or at least try to. This helps me if I am in bed and really can't sleep and then become anxious about not sleeping a different room can give me a different feel.
