It's understandable that you would have confusion about your sexuality, especially that it is a complex topic. 

Rather than regretting coming out soon, try to view it in another way. It is good that you had gained an understanding of your sexuality and tha, even if it is still a mental roller roaster. It is also good that you were able to come out to your mum, that she would have gotten some understanding on your likings and emotions. 

It's going to be tough to understand your emotions and sexuality, but remember all of this will take time and it will be worth it in the end.
