Hello @purple_wombat,
Thanks for reaching out. I have chatted to a few friends that I trusted about how I wanted to be communicated. To me, small things such as asking how my day was or initiating hangouts would make my days a lot. Some have said they would try to do so, but there has not been much changes (which, I understand, people are busy with their lives, and I'm not really entitled to their attention, they have their own social lives too).
About dating, over the years, I have not tried much other than dating apps (most conventional ones like Tinder, or one more LGBT-oriented like Scruff). As much as I would like to meet people organically, I don't think I can do much here, especially when I'm a person not into drinking or sports at all. I even tried a queer speed dating event only to turn out that 95% of participants are girls, LOL (I do have crushes on some girls, but pretty rarely). If you have some experience, I would love to hear yours!
