It takes a lot of courage to try and make things better for yourself. You should be really proud of yourself. I can only speak from my experience, but it seems to get better. Eventually you’ll look back and you’ll see how far you come and all the things that felt impossible start to feel less impossible. I don’t know if life ever feels easy, but the good moments start to occur more frequently and become more valued.
Trauma is possible to heal from, it just takes way longer then is tolerable and requires a lot of effort. That isn’t to discourage you (healing is necessary), it’s just something to keep in mind when it feels like you’re getting nowhere. It’s okay if you can’t believe things will get better right now, other people will believe in it for you. All you really need to do is keep trying. Do you have anyone you can receive support from/share you experiences with?
