Hi @Samm38 ,
That sounds like a really difficult situation and I think what I noticed in your post is that you love and care for everyone in your family so much, which makes it even more difficult! I also just wanted to say that it's really great how much you care about the wellbeing of your sister, I'm sure she is really appreciative of it and it's actually probably helping her a lot with dealing with some of the struggles she is going through. You sound like a really kind-hearted and lovely person 😊
I don't have a blended family, so I can't really speak to that, but I did personally have quite a chaotic household with my parents and siblings fighting a lot. This effected me in a similar way to you, I would get really anxious and have anxiety attacks. One thing that really helped me was putting headphones in watching something on youtube that I was interested in or watching music videos. That was able to distract me both visually and drown out the fighting, so it helped me calm down a lot! I also started meditating before I went to bed with a 5 or 10 minute mindfulness meditation and even though I was only meditating before bed, I found during the day when stressful things would happen (like fights at home), I was able to stay calm a lot easier and it decreased my panic symptoms a lot! Kids helpline really helped me as well because I find talking about what you are going through to someone who is understanding really helps (which you've already done by posting onto here!!).
