Thanks @snazzy_pigeon, this is super interesting!!! I'm guessing the science behind it is maybe that it stops the memory of the uncomfy thing from being properly consolidated ?? (Okay I actually looked it up haha and thats sort of it - apparently because it is such a visual game, it uses up a lot of the resources in the visual part of the brain that is usually what processes the trauma. Because of all the resources being used up, it weakens the memory trace of the incident - that is so interesting!!)
