I like that you've developed some self-awareness around this and why this is occurring for you. It's horrible that you're boundaries were violated in such ways in the past, I can see why this is something you're having a difficult time overcoming.


Sometimes when I get anxious over things I like to try and change my thinking, or maybe verbalise  to myself. By this I mean somehting like, "okay, this hug is consensual, I'm safe, this is a friend I can trust." I try and do this to build a new association between the thing that is stressing me out and my thoughts surrounding it.
