Self care after therapy sessions

Hey Everyone,

 

I just started seeing a counsellor for the first time about a month ago and I'm finding it to be really helpful! She is really great and I think I am getting a lot out of it!

 

I'm wondering if anyone has any tips for caring for yourself after a session. I find I'm really tired and a bit sensitive emotionally after the sessions which is manageable, but I would love to find a way to destress a bit after the session.

 

If anyone has any experience with this and has any tips that would be great 😊
