Hi @alikay_jay

I'm so glad to hear that you're finding counselling helpful! Feeling emotionally drained after a session is something I've struggled with as well. 

If I have time, I always like to spend the rest of the day doing something I love - like baking, drawing, playing the guitar, going to the gym. 

I also spoke to my psychologist about how I've been feeling after sessions and we brainstormed some self-care activities I can do after sessions, like listening to a meditation podcast and journalling. It might be worthwhile talking to your counsellor about how you feel if you're comfortable!
