Hey @Green_Swan ,
The end of highschool is a really weird time for sure. When I finished highschool I was so sure of what I wanted to do with my career and then by the end of the first year of uni it changed and I switched degrees. Then by the end of my degrees and once I started working, my interests changed again. I went from someone who loved humanities subjects to someone who now loves data and math (when I was terrible at math at school!). I also have a friend whose ATAR score was not high enough to be accepted into any of the main uni's, but they ended up doing a pathway program into a university and are now a teacher and love their job! There are always alternate pathways!
I find after leaving highschool that the more experiences you have, the more you learn about yourself and your skills and interests. That often means having no idea what you want to do, and that is okay! I just want to assure you that you have plenty of time to discover what you are both interested in and skilled at. Everything in between is a great chance to develop and learn more about yourself.
Something I think about a lot is the saying "Your 20's are for learning, your 30's are for earning". Whenever I start to worry that I am not where I should be in my career or that I am wasting my potential, I think about how right now the best thing for me to do is to try as many different things as possible so that I can learn what I really truly enjoy and want to focus on. It is also okay (and vital) to rest after a long time of working/studying really hard!
