Thanks so much for sharing! I really wish self-care was emphasised more in school. I feel like self-care can give us the energy to manage the stressors of life effectively and restore our limited motivation. It can be so easy to ignore self-care when things are going okay or when you are stretched thin but doing so will most likely catch up to you, typically in the form of burnout.
Those are excellent was to practice self-care! For me, engaging in my hobbies and sleeping properly are the self-care activities that have the biggest impact on my wellbeing. It’s so hard for me to be motivated and productive when I haven’t had fun or slept well in a while.
