I completely agree. University is such a big commitment both in time and cost. Most of the time you start straight out of high school with no real clear of your future and a limited understanding of your interests. I find that having subject that I enjoy makes me feel like I’m getting a better sense of myself and what I want to become. It makes the future seem a bit less intimidating. It’s also so much easier to complete challenging assignments when you’re genuinely interested in the content.
