Hey @Matcha_Toad ,
its so great to hear from you. Firstly, I just wanted to mention I’m so glad to hear your experience with seeing your partner in Queensland went so well. It is awesome that you not only loved being around your partner but also loved where they live, that brings many possibly exciting (and perhaps overwhelming) opportunities. In relation to missing your partner while long distance I definitely have had similar experiences. I travelled around the world for 6 months last year while my partner stayed home. Long distance definitely comes with a world of challenges, for me it sometimes also shows you how committed someone is. If someone is willing to wait for you that’s pretty awesome. Things I did to cope were always book in the next time you are going to see them so you have something to look forward to. maybe locking in a couple dates you will head back up to Queensland might make the wait a little less isolating and upsetting as you know when you will see them again. What have you done in the past to stay connected with your partner?
in relation to your studies, it sounds like you are at a very exciting and overwhelming crossroads. Firstly, congratulations on almost finishing your studies that is amazing! There are a few ways you can come to decide what pathway is best for you such as simple things such as a pros and cons list, or even seeking support from a career counselor. Have you possibly had any discussions with your partner about how you would like your future to look?
I look forward to hearing from you 😊
