Hey @Matcha_Toad
Seems like you are in quite a difficult predicament at the moment, being stuck in a turning point for your career as well as your relationship as of now.
In regards to your long- distance relationship, I feel you on this albeit not to your extent I think. As I have a partner as well, and while we aren’t in a long distance relationship, we tend to be separated by 1 month to 2 months intervals in a year.
So when I was in my first year of being together with my partner , it was rather rough as I was really missing her quite a bit, but after a while (nearing my 1.5 year point), I learned to appreciate the time I spent with her even if that’s just on the phone ( and we typically mix it up a bit by playing games over the phone sometimes apart from talking and joking around).
In any case, my suggestion would be to keep the conversations interesting and your interactions unique and different, as well as your time pre-occupied while you don’t get to interact with her in person.
In regards to your career path, I feel like that’s quite tough, since I’m also at this pathway now where I need to choose between what to do study or work and the uncertainties that comes with both options. My advice for you on this would be to seek some sort of help in regards to Career support or career services, so they can support and help you plan out your options.
In any case, I hope this was helpful and wish you all the best 😊
