Thank you for sharing! This is a lovely post. ME time is so important and I'm happy to hear you've found that walking alone while self-talking has helped you give yourself that time. I do something similar when driving and often have conversations with myself. It makes me feel confident and like I've 'caught up' with myself - it's almost like a form of writing in a journal/diary but out loud. 

 

I think another way to enjoy ME time is by doing physical activity that gets you in touch with your body like yoga. Self-talk is great for checking in with your mind, but I find that yoga is great for checking in with your body (something many of us forget to do!)
