Thank you so much for letting us know how you are feeling.
First of all congrats!! Going to see someone to talk to is a MASSIVE first step and you have crushed it. The clinician is there to support YOU, try remember that. There is nothing tangible to be scared about, all they want to do is help you the best they can, which will only really come from you letting them in and telling them your situation and feelings.
I find it's quite common for people to instinctually lie or not tell the whole truth in fear of judgement with clinicians but please try and wash that thought away if that is something on your mind. Being as open and honest as you can be is what will help you have the most effective sessions.
Maybe try some mindfulness exercises before your session or write down things you want to say because it can get difficult to try and think and say it all from the top of your head. and if you struggle to verbalise it, you can always just show them what you have written down 🙂
I am so proud of you and can't wait to hear about where this journey will take you! We love self improvement!
Sending you my best wishes and a big hug. ❤️
